Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within the ISP or telecommunications industry.
Contract of Employment: Full-time

Skills and Knowledge:

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Experience with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and ISP-related equipment.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity etc.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Solution Design: Design and propose comprehensive network solutions, including LAN/WAN architecture, IP/MPLS networks, and fiber optic connections.
  • Product Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical workshops for prospective clients.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the development of technical proposals, including detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and cost estimates.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a technical point of contact for clients during the sales process, addressing their technical concerns and ensuring alignment with their expectations.
  • Vendor Liaison: Work with vendors and third-party providers to source necessary products and services for proposed solutions.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and technical support to the sales team, helping them stay updated on the latest products, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to ensure that proposed solutions are competitive and innovative.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network designs, configurations, and customer requirements.
