Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technical fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunications.
Experience • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in system administration, infrastructure, or system engineering. • Strong experience in Linux/Windows server administration and enterprise IT infrastructure. • Hands-on experience with virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery. • Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes/container environments, or automation will be an added advantage.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- System Administration & Infrastructure Management
Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux and Windows servers and associated infrastructure. Ensure systems remain secure, stable, reliable, and optimized for business requirements.
- Virtualization, Storage & Backup
Manage virtualization platforms, storage infrastructure, backup systems, and related technologies. Monitor resource utilization, capacity, and system performance and take proactive measures to prevent service degradation.
- System Monitoring & Performance Management
Implement and maintain system monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance management solutions. Analyze system health and performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to maintain required availability and service levels.
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery
Implement and maintain high-availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Participate in DR planning, testing, failover exercises, and recovery activities to ensure critical systems can be restored within defined objectives.
- Security & System Hardening
Implement security best practices for servers and infrastructure, including OS hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, access control, privileged account management, and security monitoring. Support security audits and compliance requirements.
- Kubernetes & Container Management
Administer and support Kubernetes and container platforms, including cluster deployment, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, capacity planning, security, backup, and troubleshooting. Support application teams in deploying and operating containerized workloads.
- Automation & DevOps
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce repetitive operational tasks and improve reliability. Support CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, automated deployments, and standardized infrastructure provisioning.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Services
Support the implementation and administration of cloud infrastructure and services. Monitor cloud resources, availability, performance, security, and cost while ensuring appropriate configuration and access controls.
- Network & Infrastructure Troubleshooting
Work closely with network and security teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and other network services.
- Infrastructure Projects & Technology Deployment
Participate in infrastructure projects including server deployment, system migration, platform upgrades, technology refresh, capacity expansion, and integration of new IT services. Ensure proper planning, testing, documentation, and change management.
- Vendor & Technical Support Management
Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers for infrastructure support, maintenance, troubleshooting, warranty, and technical escalations. Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels.
- Documentation & Operational Excellence
Maintain up-to-date infrastructure diagrams, system configurations, asset information, SOPs, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and disaster recovery documentation. Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
