  1. I turned on Viasecure filter but Mobile Applications are not blocked?
    > After turning on any kind of ViaSecure filter please wait 5mins for it to take affect. Some mobile applications take longer to block than others.
    > If mobile applications are still not blocked please kindly report your feedback through our mobile app. Click on the enu icon on the top left of the mobile app and click on “Feedback”.

  2. Can changing the DNS bypass Viasecure?
    > No. For the Default Basic Filter List once turned on will accept Vianet DNS only.
    > For users using the Custom List, users must ensure to turn on “Block OpenDNS” category in the Customer Filter List for DNS Change protection.

  3. Device specific blocking available?
    > No. Viasecure blocks the sites through out the internet account in which the filter was activated.

  4. I blocked a category using ViaSecure but a website that should have been blocked was not blocked. Where can I report this?
    > If there are sites that have not been blocked despite blocking the correct category, please kindly report your feedback through our mobile app. Click on the menu icon on the top left of the mobile app and click on “Feedback”.

  5. Can VPN be used to bypass Viasecure?
    > Yes. Unfortunately, VPN can be used to bypass Viasecure’s filter.
